JEE Main counselling date/counselling procedure and JEE Main ranking 2013.

After the JEE Main engineering entrance exams and JEE Main result, students are eagerly waiting for their JEE Main ranking on the basis of which  counselling procedure will take place and also let the students know about different engineering branches and government collages available for them at that particular rank. Right now those students who are selected/qualified for JEE Advance are preparing for that exam and those students who have not qualified still have a chance for good ranking if they are going to score good marks in their Board examination. Some of the boards have declared their board results and some others like CBSE are going to declare their result soon. Now marks will be evaluated according to 40%-60% rule. Here 40% marks of respective class 12th board marks + 60% of your JEE Mains marks together are going to make your rank. It also depends upon  cbse cutoff for jee 2013 for ranking. Ranks will be out on 7-July-2013 in all India level and after that your counselling session will start.

Those students who will get good ranks will be called up for counselling in there near by university/collage and then students will be provided the options that which collages he/she can choose and which engineering field/branches are available for them. Those who will score high marks in overall or you can say that those who will get good rank will be called first and hence those who will score will be called afterwards. So, if you have scored good marks in both then your chances of getting best universities/colleges under jee mains 2013 are more. Those who will not be eligible for counselling will have to take admission in other university which do not come under JEE Mains.

After the counselling you will get the stream of your choice and also the collage/university of your choice. In this way counselling procedure will take place and your JEE Mains rank will be evaluated. JEE Main counselling will start from 2nd week of July only and till date you have to wait for it. If you have not scored good marks in JEE Mains then you must try other collages so that you can be on safe side. Some of the students who were not qualified in JEE Mains for JEE Advance exam are planning to dropout. Some of the students are still not able to decide that what to do if not selected in JEE Mains? So, it totally depends over an individual that what to do.
