Upes Review : How good UPES is for B.tech Engineering 2013-14. Review of (Placement, Studies, Infrastructure)

UPES University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is a college of Engineering, Management studies and of Law also. Well, this college is more famous for B.tech engineering where you have to clear an entrance exam and then you will get the admission in engineering college. On the basis of your rank as well as on your PCM percentage you will get the branch of your choice. Here I will mainly focus on B.tech Engineering and hence I will put the review in front of you.

                                          -->

There are many streams or university courses available which can be opted by qualifying the entrance exam. If we talk about infrastructure the it is really awesome and location is also best. There are different buildings for different work and hence there is proper system which makes the environment good. There is perfect strictness in this university as you should be in proper uniform otherwise you are not allowed to enter the main gate. The best thing is that there is exactly no ragging and there is a DSA committee for student's welfare which is responsible for maintaining the perfect environment.Studies are also good as there are highly qualified professors who are always ready to help you out regarding your problems. Many professors are friendly but some are not which is common exception in all the university.

Now the most important thing comes which is placement and university's record is increasing day by day in terms of placement as in placement week students were placed in flipkart at 12 lac/annum. Student from mechatronics was offered a package of 19.5 lac per annum and petroleum upstream students are always placed at nice packages. On average students are being placed at 3-4 lac package. If you are being placed at good company on low packages then there are high probability of getting a frequent promotions on the basis of your talent. It is obvious that if you are getting admission in better university then no doubt you should choose that university but petroleum universities are unique on its own. Among top 60 companies on earning revenue 20+ companies are from petroleum oil and gas sector only. So on overall this university should always be there in your consideration.

B.Tech Computer Science Oil and Gas Informatics at UPES

If we talk about CSE-Oil and Gas Informatics then it is one of the most versatile field specially in terms of placement as well as in terms of education also. As you are in CSE then it opens a wide scope for you to IT sector and this computer science is as normal as it is studied in other b.tech colleges. But the advantage is that this course is collaborated with IBM and this facility is provided by less number of colleges but another edge you will have is that of Oil and Gas informatics. This CSE oil and gas course not only attract oil and gas company it even attract IT sector to you for the placement.

                                          -->

Whenever a student have to choose among different course then he always check weather the field if of his/her interest or not. After that you will always look up for the placement. The current batch of CSE Oil and Gas Informatics is on 3rd year and hence there is no placement till date but it is expected to be awesome because of dual scope.

If your field of interest is Computer Science then stick with your passion but here in UPES you will also know about Oil and Gas with CSE. There are many other good fields in CSE like Cloud Computing and Open Source but if you are in petroleum university then your field must be related to that only like CSE Oil and Gas Informatics. Geo Informatics and CSE O&G are the only course in whole university which is related to IT sector as well as petroleum sector. So, overall in my opinion if you are not getting petroleum branch in this university then you should opt for this branch.

Tata Tea vs Red label vs Taj Mahal Which tea is better among them?

There are lots and lots of brands of tea available in India and among them Brook Bond in not only the largest tea manufacture in India but it is the largest manufacture of tea in Asia also. This company only focus on the production of tea and coffee where as on other hand we have Tata which is manufacturing almost every thing from a pin to truck everywhere there is tata. Both companies have good brand value. Now I will focus on Tea only. As both brook bond and tata are good brands in the manufacture of tea that's why consumed widely in India.

                                          -->

You might be thinking that why brook bond has launched two tea products? This is because Red Label was manufactured for the purpose of having good effect of tea on human body. They have added some different natural ingredients which protect us from different diseases and makes our body healthy where as Taj Mahal was manufactured for the purpose of classical tea or you can say for the tea only. Tata tea was manufactured to provide the consumer tea at low cost. Tata tea is comparatively costs less than brook bond and hence have a good impact over the market.

Now choosing the best tea simply depends on you. It depends on such a way that, how much you are willing to pay for a tea, for its quality and the most dependable thing is your taste. Every tea is somewhat tastes slightly different and hence you buy that product which actually makes you feel good. There are other different brands of teas which are emerging and many people are using those teas also. So, which tea is better is up to you and your taste.

Head & Shoulders vs Pantene vs Sunsilk which shampoo is better?

Shampoo is such a product which is used to nourish our hair but if it is sulfate free shampoo then there is no harm on using it. There are different brands which are providing shampoo but which one is better is important question. Some people use to apply soap in their hair but it is not good because soap is specially meant for body so it is advisable to use shampoo instead of soap for your hair. Every shampoo has its own quality and must be used for particular problem to get actual result and one by one I am going to tell you that which shampoo is better for which problem.

                                          -->

Mostly people use shampoo to get their hair soften and silky and for that I would like to recommend you Pantene as its is very much effective. This product not only make your hair silky but it also helps to make your hair stronger and protect you from hair fall problem only when hair fall is due to breakage. It will clean your hair and make them fresh and silky.

Head & Shoulders is very much effective if we talk about dandruff problem. If some one ask that how to stop dandruff then I will recommend this product. It can't remove dandruff completely but it will reduce the intensity of scalp and try to reduce as well as wash away dandruff from your hair if used regularly. If you are facing dandruff problem then definitely go for this product.

Now it comes to sunsilk shampoo review .Sunsilk is also one of the good product and it is generally used to make your hair look more black and shiny. After using this product your hair will not only shine more but it will provide good odour. They have also released new concept of 'co-creation' which is used after using the shampoo and nourish your hair in different manner. So, choose the relevant shampoo according to your need and then observe the results.

Himalaya Neem vs Everyuth face wash which one is better? Comparison

Himalaya and Everyuth  both are good face cleanser brand products and used by many of the people. People use to spent their money on such products so that they can get real value for their money. Here I am going to compare both the products so that you can actually get the real vale for your money. Both Himalayan face wash and Everyuth face wash are good at their own position and they can prove better solution for you if you will use that product for actual cause.

                                          -->

Now first of all I will talk about Himalayan Neem clean and clear oil free face wash. This product is really good and effective when you are facing problems related to pimples. If you will use it regularly for 2-3 weeks then you will find a gradual change or reduction of pimples. It not only removes the pimple but also prevent from reoccurring of pimples. After using this product your face will glow and you will feel fresh look. So, using this product is really worth.

Everyuth face wash is effective if you are facing problems related to oily skin. When I use this product I found that it helps you to wash off oil from your face and can protect your face from oil for longer period of time. But if we talk about acne and pimple it is effective but take longer time in comparison to Himalaya Neem face wash. If you really facing oily skin problem then definitely go for this product otherwise choose Himalaya. Choosing the product and its effect varies from person to person. As both are good facial cleansers so, It simply depends on you that which type of problem you are facing.

Which toothpaste is better Colgate or Pepsodent?

In Indian market for toothpaste we consider Colgate or Pepsodent because they have actually boomed the market. Whenever we think about toothpaste then we think only about Colgate or Pepsodent and usually people use to buy such products only. There are few people who use to buy another toothpaste leaving these brands. These brands are popular just because they are old as well as their advertisement is really very effective and convince the consumer to buy their product. But actual question which rises is that which product is better among Colgate and Pepsodent?

                                          -->

Both the products have their own quality and have different advantages. If you talk about Colgate then its active salt is really effective over cavities and tooth decay where as Pepsodent prevents your tooth from germs and other problems. Pepsodent makes your teeth clean and helps from fighting gum problems. It is not only that their advertisement is effective that's why consumers are using these products, people found it effective on their problems and that's why they are using it.

Now it depends on you that which type of problem you are facing and hence using the right product will definitely going to prove effective and useful for your problems. Choose the product and use it, you will definitely find it useful if chosen the  right product for your tooth problems. These toothpaste not only helps to wash out germs from your mouth but it also prevent from the further development of germs for limited time.

Best mobile network operator/connection among Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, Idea and Tata for better internet and calling plans.

Before starting in favor of any of the company I would like to inform you that Airtel is the only company in India which is ready for providing a 4G network connection so if you are thinking about to keep this no. with you and don't want to port so my suggestion is that use Airtel connection. Now If we talk about number of subscribers then Airtel have highest no. of subscribers which is 193.4 million and after that Vodafone have 155.5 million and Reliance have 154.11 million subscribers.

But we are here to talk about the best connection or best mobile network operator and if you want a connection which is best for calling and internet plans with best connection have approximately no signal problem then it is Airtel. It is the best network and that's why it have highest no. of users. Airtel broadband and sms service is also very good. The only problem with this connection is that it is costly in terms of internet plans and have costly calling plans. Another problem is that it activates the services on its own or somewhere tries to trick with the users and activate plans. Generally the activate Caller tune on its own without taking the confirmation of the user.

                                           -->

Vodafone is nice and have relatively cheaper internet or calling or value added plans in comparison to Airtel. We have seen that sometimes there are little problems with the connection if we move from urban to rural areas. Otherwise network is strong. Reliance is a good connection and have very cheaper rates on calling and internet data plans. Biggest problem with reliance is that its network strength is very weak. We have found many problems on its connection. Best part of reliance is that there is no roaming in all over India. On other hand Idea is also a good connection but seems to be failed if at roaming. It is very popular in Uttrakhand, U.P and some other regions but not much successful. Tata Docomo is such a connection which use to attract its customers by its amazing plans. Network strength is not so good but plans are really very unique. One plan is that we can use unlimited Whats App at Rs 15 for 30 days.

Preparation tips for CBSE 12th board Physics examination 2014.

CBSE 12th board Physics exams is near and many students are making different plans so that they can get good marks with some smart work. Getting 90% marks in Physics will be easy for you if you will prepare for the exams very well. Time is still left and if you don't know much in physics then also you can get good marks at least 85+ or may be 90+ marks if you will study with full concentration. I have made a small plan in which smart work is more in comparison to hard work so you can go through this plan also if you are comfortable with it. You can also refer to physics online study material or can refer to a physics tutor.

                                              -->

Basically there are 2 books of class 12th Physics in which 1st book is related to electricity and magnetism and another part contains optics, nuclear and electronics. If you have prepared or don't know any thing then it will be better to start with chapter 1 which is electrostatics. Then go for chapter 2 and 3. After that move on to optics and complete it. These chapters are going to take a lot of time but you should prepare them very well. After that do derivations of all the chapters specially principle and working with diagram if applicable because there will many derivation based questions. Now you know derivation of all the chapters after that go for the physics problems do the numerical of those chapters which you have left earlier.

If you still have time then try to read each chapter because theory is also important but numerical and derivations are very important. It is your own wish you can opt for the above mentioned plan which is available for physics help or you can made your own plan which will suite you will be decide by you only.

How to prepare for BITSAT engineering entrance exam 2014? Preparation Tips for BITSAT.

BITS Birla Institute of Technology and Science is no 1 private engineering college in our country. Every year many aspirants apply for BITSAT engineering entrance examination. BITS is even better than many IITs but It is very tough to crack BITSAT. To crack BITSAT exam you have to do a lot of hard work as well as smart work. Right now you don't have enough time to prepare the syllabus of 11th as well as 12th. So, I would recommend you to prepare well for your 12th boards and then go for advance questions of 12th syllabus.

                                              -->

Now for 11th I would recommend you to solve the previous year BITSAT question papers or sample question papers and on its basis evaluate that which chapter is important from class 11th syllabus. Before this you should know about the BITSAT paper level so that you can prepare well for your examinations. Paper level is tough moreover the cutoff specially for Bits pilani is also very high so it is not at all easy to crack this exam without having good command over your syllabus.

Preparation tips for CBSE 12th board Chemistry exam (Organic, Inorganic and Physical)

Many students don't know that how to start preparing for CBSE board exam and it is sometimes difficult to choose that from which chapter we should start or what should be the exact plan so that we can learn or understand the chapter effectively. Take chemistry help from your chemistry teacher or chemistry tutor. Tutor can help you in professional way. Well in this case you are not alone, there are many students who face the same problem. So I will tell you that how to start your preparation for CBSE Chemistry exam.

Our Chemistry book is divided in two parts and content wise it is divided in 3 parts which is Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. Now which chapter to choose will totally depend on you. If your organic chemistry is good then concentrate on Inorganic and Physical chemistry. Getting 90% in chemistry is not going to be very difficult even if you will start preparing from today only. Those who are preparing the subject or who has prepared all the chapters will always get an edge because they just have to revise the syllabus.

                                              -->

If you have prepared all the chapters then it is really good. Now you should all the CBSE sample papers and U-Like sample papers. If you have not prepared completely then prepare one chapter and then solve the sample papers of that particular chapter and then move to the next chapter. If you know not prepared any of the chapter then it will be better to start with organic chemistry and prepare for 3-4 chapters together after that go for the sample papers. I have said organic first because the chapters are interrelated to each other. After that biochemistry will take your big time for preparation. So, good luck for your exams.

Preparation tips for CBSE 12th board Mathematics examination 2014?

Mathematics or coolmath is a subject in which many students face difficulties and some of them loves doing maths all the time. It is nothing but more will be the practice more will be the quench for the problems. Getting 80-90 in Mathematics is not a big deal but it is also not very easy too. For good marks you actually have to put some efforts. There are 2 parts of mathematics NCERT book. If I talk about a general category then for them Matrix and Determinants are score gaining chapters whereas Integration and somewhat differentiation is marks loosing chapters. Matrix and Determinants are such chapters in which less time is required to complete the whole chapter but Integration and differentiation will consume much of your time because more practice is required to get a good command over such chapters. Play some multiplication games to increase your calculation speed.

If your differentiation is good then you can do 'Differential Equation', 'Continuity and Differentiability' and 'Application of Derivatives' easily and comfortably. Moreover if your differentiation is not good then you can't do 'Integration' and 'Application of Integrals'. There are 13 chapters and 5 are based on basic knowledge of differentiation. Further probability is there which is not much difficult but students find it difficult because they have done less practice because it is the last chapter and you don't have given much attention to this chapter. For this chapters you should know some of the basic formulas and permutation and combination concept. Linear programming is a way to get 6 marks for free and it will hardly consume 3-4 hours if you will start this chapter from the beginning.

                                              -->

Vectors and 3D is one of those chapters which contains so many formulas and makes students confused. Here you have to do more practice after integration, to get good marks in such chapters also. So, on overall it is a good task for you to complete all the chapters. All are important and questions will definitely going to come from all the chapters. Still I have a plan ready for you if you are not able to understand that what to do? or How to start?. I am considering that you know nothing in mathematics so start with Differentiation and then its belonging chapters after that try to do Integration. If you are providing 6 hrs to Mathematics a day then your differentiation and integration both must be completed with in 17-18 days. If it is difficult for you then refer to free online math tutor.This is the maximum limit you should complete it with in these days to get good command over half of the syllabus now. Then go for vectors, 3d, Matrix and Determinants which will take at most 10 days. Then focus on rest of the chapters. All the best for your 12th board examination.

How to prepare for CBSE 12th board examination 2014 with full efficiency?

This is the right time when student must start his/her studies because syllabus is vast and you have to cover that syllabus in limited period of time. One of the biggest problem which arises with the students is that they get confused that how to start and which subject to choose? If this is your problem then best solution is that you should give equal amount of time to each and every subject. If we talk about Mathematics then it is advised that you should study mathematics daily because maths is a subject where you need more and more practice otherwise you can’t score well.

So, you should give at least  1-3 hour daily to mathematics only otherwise those problems in which you are good will going to be tougher for you afterwards. Now for Physics it is important to study theory as well as numerical portion. If you are good at numerical part then go for the theory and if you are good at theory then go for the numerical part. In Physics derivation is the key to success as derivation is the only part about which you now that it will be there in your question paper. So learn or do practice of questions related to derivations. If you don’t know about your strong side (theory or numerical) then study chapter wise. It is advisable to study at least 2-3 hour of physics in a day and at least 4 days in a week.

                                              -->

Chemistry contains different parts which are organic, inorganic and physical chemistry and here you should go for organic chemistry first because at the end of year student finds organic difficult specially the conversion. Conversion contains 5 marks at most but it clears out your full organic and build your concept which makes chemistry interesting. Then you should go for other part of chemistry. Here also you should study chemistry for 2-3 hours a day and at least 4 days in a week.

This schedule and planning is build for those who don’t understands that how to start studies and how much time we should spent on different subjects. If you have your own idea and planning then implement that plan. Don’t go for such plans which are like impossible and you don’t have the caliber to implement that plan. Some of you might be thinking that we have to study for more time in comparison to above mentioned time period. But it is good to start slowly, means you should increase this time period slowly so that you don’t feel and burden and you will get at least 90% efficiency of your hard work.

Which device is used to convert AC current to DC current and DC current to AC current?

AC is Alternating Current where as DC is Direct Current. The current which drives to our home is Alternating Current and many of the appliances like Television, Microwave, etc works on alternating current. But some of the appliances works on direct current and hence it requires a device which can convert suitable amount of alternating current in to direct current and that device is known as Rectifier. Some appliances use both form of electricity AC as well as DC and hence both are important form in their own way.

                                              -->

Now we also want to know that what is the name of that device which is used to convert direct current into alternating current and that device is known as Inverter. Many people use inverter in their homes and it actually converts AC current to DC through rectifier and after that stores it in the form of DC and when we use inverter power then DC current is actually converted to AC and hence power our houses perfectly. So AC is converted to DC by Rectifier and DC is converted to AC through Inverter.

IP University admission for improvement exam students (CBSE case) 2013.

IP University admissions will start soon and many students are waiting for that result in which they have locked their choices. This result will declare on 15th July 2013 and many students are waiting for the same. But there is a problem for those students who have given CBSE improvement exam and has qualified IP University entrance exam. Actually the problem is that university is not able to decide weather to choose new marks (improvement exam) or previous year CBSE exam or to choose highest marks among them. So, this is really a problem for those who are waiting for the admission to IP University. On other hand, CBSE has said that it is up to the university and they can go for any of the decision. They can choose any of the marks according to their own policy.

But IP University has said that they can take decision only when CBSE will give permission in written. This war between CBSE and IP University has made the worse conditions for the students. University has hold their admission to the university and not clearing out that they will get admission or not. The Joint registrar of IP University Mr. Pradeep has said that if CBSE will give a written permission to the university that they can do anything then only we will take decision. He also added that some students are those who were pass in 2012 CBSE exam but failed in 1-2 subjects in CBSE 2013 exam. Now university is not able to decide weather to consider pass or fail to such students.

                                              -->

Students have said that they have cleared the entrance exam but they don't know weather they will get admission or not. Now some students said that they will go to the CBSE office and discuss their problem with CBSE on the same. Those students who have scored in 70s and 80s or more marks in class 12th are advised not to give improvement exam if they are interested for the admission to the IP University.

UPES 2nd counselling for b.tech and other integrated course 2013.

UPES University of Petroleum and Energy Studies has successfully conducted its 1st counselling in which many students have opted for different branch of engineering and also on other integrated courses. In 1st counselling only all seats were filled and very few seats for some integrated courses and seats of UTM are left. We don't know weather other seats are left or not for b.tech but if the seats will be available or vacant then there will be second counselling. Students will be called for second counselling on 15th July and for further information please visit to official website of UPES. Wait list session was ended on 10th July only and those seats which was not opted by any other student will be left for the second round of counselling.

                                              -->

Counselling venue is Dehradun and student who have been shortlisted for 2nd counselling and want to take admission in UPES or UTM can attend counselling. All the procedure will be same as that of first counselling and I don't know that they will be able to apply for wait list or not. But if you are interested then definitely attend 2nd counselling session so that you can get a seat in this university. Second counselling will be there if and only if there will be vacant seats otherwise there will be no 2nd counselling. But don't worry I think that there will be second counselling as there are many seats left in UTM but can't say about UPES. It will be better if you can contact the UPES directly for further information.

Dropping a year after 12th for IIT and NIT is good decision or not?

This is really very serious question because it will take one more year and hence you need to prepare more well as you have prepared earlier. If you really want to do b.tech from IIT and NIT then it is a good decision but you have to focus only on studies. There are many students who drops an year and then can't do well in their entrance exams and hence feel very low and blame them self for wasting one more year. But some students are such that who really want to take admission in NIT or IIT and hence become successful after dropping a year. There are merits as well as demerits of dropping a year and believe me there are more demerits in comparison to merits so the best way is to prepare for entrance after joining the college.

Many students do this thing that they join a college and then prepare for the entrance exams but this is the toughest but safest option for all who are looking for a seat in IIT and NIT. Here in 1st year you will actually go through your 11th as well as 12th but of higher level and it some how helps you but here you have to study for your college exam as well as for entrance exam. So, if you can focus in both then go for this option. By choosing this option 1-2 among 500 are selected for IIT and 5-6 for NIT by which you can estimate that it is not easy task to do.
                                              -->
Dropping up a year completely without taking admission to any college is really risky and full of stress also but there are students who do the same and crack IIT and NIT. One of my friend living in Delhi, has tried for the entrance exam thrice and then he cracked the IIT. He has not applied for any other examination except IIT and hence cracked it on third attempt. But now you according to new rule you can give entrance exam for IIT only 2 times. Well by this example I mean to say that if your focus is really awesome means, if you can concentrate in studies well for 5 hours a day after dropping then do it because many IITians have done the same. Main thing required is focus. Just concentrate on your studies and don't bother about anything. But this is 100 or may be 1000 times harder to do by just writing or thinking about it. But its up to you that what you can do.

Best thing about dropping is only that you can reappear and can stand up for a chance again for admission to  IIT and NIT. You can actually focus on your studies leaving CBSE studies behind which you have cleared in previous year. You can actually give your 100% to your entrance exams and can be satisfy with your studies. But the thing is that all these is not a cake walk. You actually have to give your best without any distraction and anything else. This is really tough because students who actually drops feel really depressed and low and always afraid. Bad things automatically comes in mind that what will happen?. What if not selected?, What if failed to prepare properly?. All such questions comes in mind and that's natural. If you can beat all the difficulties that you should drop otherwise say a big no to this plan.

Which engineering is easier to study and have good placement among all fields of engineering?

Engineering is a field in which a hardworking person can achieve a lot. No luck works and it is up to you that in which field you are good or going to be good. If you are good at mechanics and love to work upon motors and other different parts of machines then you should go for electronics or mechanics or instrumentation but if you love programming and eager to know that how all games and applications like angry birds, vice city works or want to know that how to create a website then you should go for computer science engineering. Some students choose engineering according to their interest and many of the students choose engineering according to the placement records and salary provided to a student after the 4 year b.tech program and both type of students are right at their points.

Now the most important question arises is that which engineering is easiest and  can provide a good future? There are some students who are not able to decide that which engineering will suite them the best. Some students are confused between computer science and mechanical and at the time of counselling session they are really feel stress if they can't decide properly. Some students are good in academics and still don't know what they want to do and they don't know that which engineering will be the best for them.

                                              -->

Most difficult engineering is Electronics and communication engineering followed by Electronics and Electrical engineering. These are difficult because of so many circuit diagrams and students get confused and moreover don't have much job vacancies in India. Most easiest engineering is Computer Science Engineering  as it is logical and less difficult in comparison to  all engineering. Moreover it has better placement ratio then electronics. So, if you have not decided any engineering then choose this one. Mechanical engineering is difficult from CSE but easier from EEE and ECE. Civil engineering is such a field in which studies is not much difficult but have good scope in present as well as in future.

How to prepare for Jamia Millia Islamia? Tips and Tricks to crack Jamia Exam 2013.

Jamia Millia Islamia Engineering Entrance Exam is on 8th June 2013 and many students are preparing for it to get a seat in this university. If you are in general category then you have to score really well so that you can get a seat in this university. Some students are confused that how to prepare for this exam and that to in limited period of time. Don't worry we have different solutions for you. It is always good to prepare earlier but many students are still there who prepare for the exam in last time.

Those who have not studied then they can revise that much which they have studied earlier. Going through the new topics will always going to decrease you interest as well as your marks in the exam. Written paper is of 170 marks and that includes Physics of 55 marks, Chemistry of 55 marks and Mathematics of 60 marks. Left 30 Marks will be of credited to you for interview. Now if you have prepared well for physics but not for chemistry then you should study chemistry first but only those topics which you know well in comparison to other topics. If you are good in mathematics then study it afterwards.
                                              -->
In these examination most important thing is time management. If you will able to manage time then your 50% problems are finished. Some times it happens that those students who have prepared very well can't perform well in the examination so, you should plan that how to start and which subject should be given more or less time. A basic strategy is that you should start with maths as it will take more time on solving the questions then chemistry and then physics. Anyway it is your choice that how yo start. For such plannings you must solve Jamia Entrance question paper to get good marks. Solving these papers will give you an estimate of the paper level as well as time management. So, best of luck and prepare well for the exam.

Minimum marks/cutoff marks required for the selection in UPES for b.tech 2013

This year around 22,000 students filled up the application for UPES University of Petroleum and Energy Studies entrance examination and hence waiting for the result to be announced. Students are also searching for UPES placement record that which field can give better placement from the campus only. There are around 240 seats related to petroleum and gas studies and these seats are really very important as these field provides better placement. Answer key of UPES exam will be announced soon. Well, placement record is one of the most important thing to make a university good.

Recently I came to know that 70 marks is the minimum marks required for the selection in this university. If you will score around 70 or more then there will be some chances of admission to this university. Question paper was of 200 marks and getting 70 marks is not a big deal as there was no negative marking but getting 70 is not much easier also. All this cutoff rank/marks depends upon number of students participated in this exam as well as highest marks scored by the student.

                                                -->

This time competition may rise up easily as there were 22,000 students who have participated in this exam. If you are scoring around 100 marks then you can be on safe side for the admission. If you want to choose petroleum and gas related field then you must score at least 150 marks because seats are really very less. Getting 170 marks will confirm your seat in this university.

Not received Jamia admit card/ admit card is lost then what to do 2013?

This happens before the examination that students who have applied for the exam did not receive the admit card for the entrance examination and many students don't know what to do at that time. If this thing happens or happened with you that you have not received the admit card or by mistake you have lost your jamia admit card then don't worry as your search for this query is over. Well, the admit card is sent to every student. Now here is the solution that what to do if this thing happens before the entrance examination. To get good marks you must solve Jamia sample/model question paper 2013.

                                                     -->

Most of the time due to delay in service students are not able to get the admit card  of Jamia on time so wait for some time but not much time. But if you have actually not received then you can contact to the concerned department/ faculty/ center with 2-3 passport size photographs which must be colored and self attested and one thing is that you must take same photograph which you have pasted in application form. One more thing you have to do is that take a receipt from post office for the confirmation of dispatched of application form. Where and whom to contact is another question and here is the answer Office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi.

This admit card is not only important for the entrance examination but if you will be qualified then it is compulsory for you to keep it safe because it will be required at the time of admission specially for those students who are seeking for the admission in engineering and technology. The duplicate admit card will not be issue on the day of entrance examination so apply for that at least 2 days before to be on safe side.

Jamia Millia Islamia model/practice question paper, answer key, cutoff marks for b.tech 2013

After different engineering entrance examinations a new exam which is Jamia is coming near and this exam will be on 8th June 2013. Many students are preparing for this examination and trying to study as much as possible in limited time frame. Jamia is an islamic university in india but open for every category. To get good score you need to study well and must solve sample/model test papers to get an idea about the question paper. These question will be really helpful for you and hence must be solved by every candidate. Moreover there are answers/solutions with them so you don't have to search more for answers as well as question papers. To get those papers please submit contact form or you can simply request for the question paper at the comment below with your E-Mail id so that we can send you the direct downloading link. Link is not provided in this page because of high bounce rate.

                                                   -->

Answer key will be uploaded after 10th June 2013 and till 20th June 2013 on the official website of Jamia alumni. This time many of the students have applied for this engineering entrance exam and seats are really very less. There is reservation quota for different categories and that's why those from general category have to score really good marks so that they can get a seat in this university. This is really a good university if you are getting admission then you must not this opportunity as placements are good.

Jamia University does not declare cutoff as such but it is expected that if you will get marks around 100-130 then only you can get the admission and below this there no good chance. With paper there will be interview and you will get marks for the interview also. Jamia just calls the students for the interview that's why it does not declare any type of cutoff marks and hence it remains disclosed by them.

This is the question of many AdSense publishers that my AdSense account manager which is providing ppc bid management is not recording the clicks while page views are still generating in account. You might also observing this thing that your older site is generating revenue without any problem but the real problem is with the new website/blog. You are generating revenue for CPM but no click is recorded. 90% of you are tracking your website with statcounter and it is showing exit links towards different format of ads by AdSense. So, these are the common problems which AdSense publisher are facing. If you are using statcounter then please magnify it and see that for how much time visitor remained in advertisers website and then returned to your site. This was one of those problems which I faced. Here visitors visit your site and then click your ads and suddenly close your website. If this is not your problem then read ahead.

                                                     -->

The best solution which worked for me is that changing the placement of your ads. Earlier I have placed my ads in between the post but after that I have placed it out of the content so that there will be less chances of accidental clicks. This solution really worked for me. What you have to do is to change the position of your ads and then wait for 2-3 days (which was my case) and then you will see that your account is recording all of your clicks as well as you are getting payment for that. There is one rare problem and that is clicks from other countries are being recorded but clicks from my country are not being recorded. This is very rare case and you might be facing this case. If you are facing this problem then apply the above mentioned solution that will definitely going to work for you.

These are such problems which is basically faced by those who have associated their new website/blog with the AdSense api so don't worry about that you will soon start generating your revenue. Most of the time people have to wait for 1-2 week after replacing their ads and till then you can just wait only. Sometimes Statcounter record those clicks which was not actually clicked and one such incident happened with me. I have posted new article on my blog and just reload it 2-3 times for checking that plugins have been installed successfully or not. After that I switched to my statcounter exit links activity page and I saw 3 clicks from my own IP address which was not actually made. So don't lean too much over statcounter and have patience for at least 2 weeks.

UPES answer key, number of students appearing for the B.tech Entrance exam 2013

UPES is the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is a university which also provides B.tech degree in different engineering fields like electronics, mechanical, computer science, etc. But main courses provided by this university is related to energy and petroleum studies and UPES placement records are really good in energy related field. If you are looking for a good placement then you must opt for energy related fields but other fields are also good with average placement of 3-4 lac but if we talk about energy related fields then average placement is around 5-6 lac.

                                                       -->

For getting good marks you need to solve the sample question paper of UPES so that you can get the idea of the paper. Solving the sample papers provide you an estimate that how paper will come and what will be the level of that question paper. To get the admission you need to get good marks or need to clear cutoff marks/rank of UPES for b.tech degree. Some of the students have opted for merit list JEE Mains marks and 12th Board marks. In JEE Mains you have to clear cutoff marks which is 113 and for Board marks you need to get at least 80% in your 12th board to get the direct admission in it. About 22,000 students are appearing in this engineering entrance examination and that is confirm because I got the message from UPES only.

If you will score around 100 marks from 200 then you can be on safe side moreover there is no negative marking so you can mark all the questions. 1 question is of 1 mark which means that you need to solve at least 110 questions carefully to get at least 100 marks. Answer key of UPES will be uploaded by the UPES officials at its main website till 2nd week of June. Till that period you have to wait for the results.
